Setting the stage for his re-election bidding, President Donald Trump at a self-congratulatory State of the Union address on Wednesday underlined the financial benefits of the US under his direction, claiming “the American Dream is back” and is”more powerful than ever before”. “The decades of economic decay are all over.

He explained in only three”short” years, his government has”shattered the mindset of American decrease” and refused”the downsizing of America’s fate”. The president contended that his country’s economy is the greatest it’s ever been. Asserting that the US is moving ahead at a rate that was unthinkable only a brief time ago, Trump, the first president to run for re-election after being impeached, said jobs are flourishing, incomes are rising, poverty is plummeting, crime is falling, assurance is soaring as well as the nation is flourishing and highly admired again.

America’s fortunes are on the increase its potential is”blazing bright”, he explained.

“From the moment I took office, I transferred fast to revive the United States market — slashing a record quantity of job-killing regulations, enacting historical and record-setting tax cuts and fighting fair and reciprocal trade arrangements,” Trump said. The president stated the schedule of his government is pro-worker, pro-family, pro-growth, and, first and foremost, pro-American. “Since my election, we’ve made seven thousand new jobs — 5 million over government specialists projected during the preceding government.

“Incredibly, the average unemployment rate under my government is significantly lower than any government in the history of the nation. If we hadn’t reversed the failed economic policies of the former government, the entire world wouldn’t currently be witness to America’s great financial achievement,” Trump claimed.

He noticed that the unemployment levels for African-Americans, Hispanic-Americans, and Asian-Americans have attained the lowest rates in history. African American youth unemployment has attained an all-time low.

“African American poverty has dropped to the lowest rate ever recorded. The unemployment rate for girls attained the lowest level in nearly 70 years — and a year ago, girls stuffed 72 percent of new jobs included. The specialists’ unemployment rate fell to a record low.

Underling that employees without a high school degree have reached the lowest unemployment rate listed in US history, he maintained that record amount of young Americans is currently working.
