Twitter and Amazon Web Services seem to be having a few difficulties, Downdetector stated in a succession of tweets.
Twitter users are experiencing problems mostly through the site, while 30 percent of users are experiencing issues via the iPhone or even iPad program, based on Downdetector. Some are experiencing difficulties viewing tweet remarks. Consumers have been having problems since 11:10 am ET, also though the stream of accounts has slowed.
Amazon Web Services was having problems because 11:16 am ET, Downdetector explained. Consumers are experiencing cases of unavailability from Amazon’s Elastic Compute Cloud and some connectivity problems in Amazon Relational Database Service and Amazon WorkSpaces, according to the organization’s status page. It isn’t immediately clear if both are linked.
“It was not a consequence of our strategies,” he explained. A spokesman for AWS called Bloomberg into the provider’s status page and didn’t comment further.
