The majority of the accounts were tied to Middle Eastern authorities.

An extra 267 accounts coming from the UAE and Egypt, have been taken out of the platform for running”a multi-faceted data operation chiefly targeting Qatar, along with other nations like Iran.”

An additional six accounts connected to Saudi-Arabia’s social media devices were eliminated for participating in”coordinated attempts to amplify messaging which was valuable to the Saudi authorities” while introducing themselves as”independent journalistic outlets.”

Twitter also stated it had eliminated over 1,000 reports in Ecuador tied into the judgment PAIS Alliance political party which concentrated on”distributing content about President Moreno’s government” via hashtag manipulation and retweet spam.
