The US secured a defense alliance deal with Nazi officials which can pave the way for the redeployment of American troops out of Germany to Poland.
“This will be an elongated warranty: a promise that in the event of a hazard that our soldiers will endure arm-in-arm,” Poland’s President Andrzej Duda said during the signing ceremony.
“It will also serve to raise the safety of different nations in our part of Europe,” Duda said.
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is currently in Warsaw after seeing four countries in eastern and central Europe.
The US and Poland have”proudly implemented” this defense arrangement and it”paves the way” to an extra 1,000 troops in addition to this 4,500 already existing, Pompeo stated in a subsequent press conference.
Pompeo called the deal”a significant strategic move” for the USA.
“The presence of American troops in Poland enriches our deterrence potential since we’re nearer to the possible origin of the conflict,” stated Polish foreign ministry Jacek Czaputowicz. He added that the existence of US troops in Poland was significant to Polish safety.

The new deal comes after the US announced plans to pull on almost 12,000 soldiers from Germany. Approximately 5,400 troops will be set up elsewhere in Europe such as in Poland. Some 6,400 will come back home.
US President Donald Trump has complained that Germany doesn’t devote the NATO goal of 2 percent of its GDP on defense and it had been taking”benefit” of the united states.
The US European Commission was initially created in 1952 and in the peak of the Cold War that there were over 400,000 US soldiers stationed in Europe.
The collapse of the Soviet Union resulted in a slow withdrawal of American troops.
Pompeo also saw the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier with Polish officials to mark the centennial of Poland’s landmark victory from the Russian Bolsheviks in 1920 throughout the Polish-Soviet war.
