Venezuelan lawmakers from little opposition parties Friday stated Juan Guaido must continue as leader of Congress in 2020, waiving their choice to direct the legislature under an informal agreement to rotate direction involving parties.
The announcement ended speculation of an opposition rift within the 2020 legislative period, which beneath a 2016 arrangement within the resistance would have dropped to some group of 17 little parties.
