Actor Vidya Balan has talked about confronting a’scarring’ casting couch position previously. Vidya, who recently appeared with Akshay Kumar from the blockbuster movie Mission Mangal, was talking about her previous struggles in a meeting to Pinkvilla.
Recalling the episode, she explained, “One day I recall I was in Chennai and this manager came to meet me. I said, let us sit at the coffee store, and he maintained that he wishes to speak to me personally and that we ought to visit the room. This episode suddenly struck me now when I am speaking about that.”
She added, “Someone wrote that’Dress such as this, she does not have any business of getting out, she must remain indoors.’ That had influenced me so much for the most extended period; I’d get fantasies of it and become very mad. Now, I do not allow the sound to reach me.”
Vidya also talked about the time when she signed up 12 Tamil movies but ended up becoming replaced on every one of them, since the arrangements were verbal, rather than written down. “My parents flew into Chennai and talked to the manufacturer, who showed clips from the movie and said,’Look at her, does she seem as a heroine? She stated that the experience made her’feel as though so **t’ and she did not seem at the mirror to what felt like six weeks since she felt awful. Vidya reported that she found it hard to forgive the guy after the episode, but could honestly say that she’s now.
