The shop’s bicycle sales have increased also. Before COVID-19, Julien-Lafferière’s store sold approximately five bikes weekly. Now it is about 15 per week, ” he says.
“People do not wish to take public transportation and they are denying that it is feasible in Lyon to bicycle,” Julien-Lafferière explained. “It is even more pleasurable.”
Many cities around Europe are working to promote cycling in a bid to prevent increased traffic on streets as individuals avoid crowded metros and buses.
