113-year-old Spanish Girl overcomes coronavirus Disease

A 113-year-old Spanish girl says she’s in good health following overcome infection by the new coronavirus.

Maria Branyas stated she”feels great.” She prevented developing acute COVID-19 symptoms and also had her most recent test come back negative.

“Up to my health, I feel great, together with the small difficulties everyone has as we age, however, I feel good,” Branyas informed EFE this week out of her nursing home in which many residents have fallen sick and died from the new virus.

Local press says at least 17 inhabitants of the nursing home are supposed to have died after developing symptoms related to COVID-19. On March 27, Banyas’ social networking accounts run by her kids said that”regrettably the virus has entered our house.”

After living for a long time in New Orleans in which her father set a magazine, she returned to Spain’s northeastern Catalonia area where she resides in the town of Olot.

“Due to this war, Germany was attacking from the northwest, and there weren’t any means of going through the Nordic seas so that you needed to move farther south, through Cuba and the Azores,” she explained.

Despite her bad sight and hearing, Branyas stated she had been conscious of the pandemic which has claimed over 27,000 resides in Spain.

“It’s a catastrophe,” she stated, “because only a few men and women appear to understand where it came from, how it got here and why.
