4 French MPs test positive for coronavirus; Big Parties banned

France last week prohibited parties of over 5,000 individuals in restricted spaces. The new constraints expand the ban nationally, Health Minister Olivier Véran stated in a press conference, Reuters reported.

“The priority would be to do whatever we can to slow down the transmission of this virus,” explained Véran, who explained the arrangement does not apply to public transport or parties for college examinations or political demonstrations.

National health authorities declared Sunday afternoon, meanwhile, three more people have died, increasing the federal total to 19, from among 1,126 confirmed cases of the disease. The number of confirmed cases rose by 336 in only the last day, they stated a spike of over 18 percent in one day.

Four of these are members of the National Assembly, health authorities in the district surrounding Paris said Sunday night, along with two staffers in the federal funding. We were in confinement, and individuals suspected of having had contact with them were made conscious, officials explained.

Authorities said the nation remains at”phase 2″ of containment processes, focused on restricting disease and secondary circumstances.
