Bharti Airtel has shown fastest download speeds of 9.6 Mbps and greatest video experience across all telecom circles in India, whereas Reliance Jio has expanded its 4G accessibility to 97 percent, based on OpenSignal’s latest cellular network encounter report.
The download rates are crucial for the streaming of internet content, particularly games and videos, said cellular analytics firm Opensignal.
Latency is essential for reaction time. Jio has won the struggle on latency with customers on its community experiencing reaction time of 54.2 milliseconds, followed closely by Airtel in 57.1 milliseconds.
According to April 2019 statistics, Jio’s latency has been 62.5 milliseconds.
“The decrease latency is on a community, the greater experience you will get on a plethora of mobile services and applications, from web surfing to voice over IP to real-time multi-player gambling,” the report states.
Vodafone topped in voice program experience — a brand new metric released by Opensignal from the most recent survey. This captures the quality perceived by consumers of voice communicating cellular programs — WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and Skype.
Vodafone scored 72.6 which has been slightly greater compared to Airtel’s 72. Although this parameter is very important from the consumers’ standpoint, for operators, voice calls made through OTT (over-the-top) programs directly compete with their voice telephone services.
