Amazon Eliminates’Unsuitable’ listings Following Auschwitz Memorial complaint

Amazon on Sunday eliminated”Christmas decorations” items comprising pictures of the former Auschwitz camp following the Auschwitz Memorial ministry stated that they had been improper.

However, not all”bothering” goods are eliminated by the internet giant, the Memorial museum mentioned: items such as mousepads with a photograph of this”cargo car used for deporting Jews for extermination” are still listed for sale.

Earlier on Sunday, the memorial had pointed to Amazon pages record items like Christmas decorations and jar openers with different decorative pictures, including a photograph of the entrance of the Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland, where more than one million Jewish men, women and children died after being deported from the Nazi regime between 1940 and 1945.

“Selling”Christmas decorations” with pictures of Auschwitz doesn’t look suitable”, the Twitter accounts for your Auschwitz Memorial museum tweeted Sunday. “Auschwitz on a jar opener is quite upsetting and disrespectful.”

“We request Amazon to eliminate the things of these providers.”

Amazon did not instantly respond to Euronews’ petition for comment.
