At least 43 people were killed after a fire swept through a mill in Delhi, government and police officials said.
It broke out on Sunday morning at the congested Anaj Mandi region of the Indian funds and spread rapidly, local press reported.
The chief minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal stated while going to the scene of the fire he had ordered an inquiry into the episode.
“Police are providing all possible support at the website of this catastrophe,” Modi said.
Home minister Amit Shah stated in a tweet there was a”tragic loss of prior lives” which he had”educated concerned governments to offer all possible help on an urgent basis.”
The reason for the fire wasn’t immediately known.
