At least eight people died in Turkey on Sunday following an earthquake hit western Iran, Turkish officials affirmed.
Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca stated on Twitter that nine Turkish nationals had expired and a further 37 was hurt.
He added that eight of the injured have been in”critical” although not a life-threatening illness in the Baskale State Hospital
The 5.7 magnitude earthquake struck Sunday morning and also an estimated 8.2 million individuals had been at the affected area, as stated by the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre.
