Two girls working as junior artists, both 18 and 25, were discovered to be involved, and the two were spared from the SSB. The police said the accused was used to charge Rs 60000 each girl.
The accused, identified as Navin Kumar, a casting director in the movie business, was operating the racket for the previous five decades with the assistance of his pals, Ajay Sharma and Vijay. Both are needed in connection with the situation.
Sandesh Rewale, inspector, SSB, stated according to a tip-off they put a snare in a cafe in Seven bungalows, Versova at Andheri (West). “A decoy client contacted Navin Kumar and he agreed to ship two women who are employed in the movie industry as a model and artiste. The accused demanded Rs 60000 in the decoy client for every single girl and requested to reserve hotel beforehand,” said the officer. “When Navin Kumar came with the women and his identity had been confirmed, we detained the girls were rescued after documenting their announcement.”
