Closed, confrontational Boundary Can Turn into hotbed of War, Terrorism: China

A closed, backward and confrontational border can become hotbeds for breeding terrorism or activate wars between nations, China’s vice foreign minister Luo Zhaohui stated on Tuesday.

The only means to prevent a catastrophe is to construct a boundary of peace and friendship, Luo stated at what the state media knew as the”first global border collaboration convention” organized by the Chinese authorities.

Officials, agents, ambassadors, and specialists from China and 14 nearby nations and border governments attended the convention. The Indian embassy did not respond to questions whether India that had almost 45 rounds from border talks with China had been symbolized.

Luo, who had been ambassador to India until recently, said China had solved land boundary problems with 12 of its 14 acquaintances, with two exceptions: India and Bhutan.

“Constructing a boundary of peace, friendship and collaboration isn’t just an objective requirement for the growth of all nations, but also the frequent aspiration of the states of the area.”
