Coronavirus second wave: Are climbing infections in Europe impacting COVID-19 deaths?

With a lot of Europe currently experiencing higher rates of COVID-19 infections than listed at the spring, what effect is this having deaths?

While deaths from the disease have been climbing in mid-October from the likes of Germany, France, the united kingdom and Spain, it’s way off the levels found before this season.

For example, data gathered by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, reveals that there were 88 daily COVID-19 deaths reported by France on October 16.

But in the summit in early April, the nation was enrolling over 1,000 deaths over a 24-hour period.
