President Donald Trump declared he would hold a media briefing on the global coronavirus outbreak in the White House on Saturday afternoon as health officials in Washington state declared that the first departure in the U.S. from the virus.
The sudden announcement comes following three new confirmed or presumptive cases of the coronavirus disease COVID-19 contracted in an unknown origin that had been reported Friday. The passing was reported in Washington’s King County soon before Trump was anticipated to talk.
Vice President Mike Pence, that Trump has placed in control of his government’s reaction to the virus, has been meeting with the minds of both Health and Human Services and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention at the White House situation room Saturday morning.

In a rally in South Carolina on Friday, Trump defended his government’s handling of this virus and also accused Democrats of”politicizing” the situation. “That is their brand new hoax,” he explained.
