The House Judiciary Committee heard from attorneys for both parties for over nine hours findings in the Intelligence Committee’s impeachment inquiry over allegations which Trump withheld help to pressure Ukraine to research former Vice President Joe Biden.
The Democratic aide said the posts would be declared at a press conference on Tuesday morning.
The Washington Post, citing three officers reported Monday night the two posts were anticipated to allege abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. NBC News has not supported the report.
Asked whether the statement on Tuesday will be regarding articles of impeachment, Rep. Eliot Engel, D-N.Y., chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, stated: “Yeah, that which.”
Engel spoke following a meeting at the Office of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of pioneers of committees involved in the impeachment question, such as Adam Schiff of California, chairman of the Intelligence Committee; Jerrold Nadler of New York, chairman of the Judiciary Committee; and Maxine Waters of California, chairwoman of the Financial Services Committee.
