Elon Musk touts 146,000 Requests for Tesla’s Electrical pickup truck

Elon Musk says Tesla has obtained almost 150,000 requests for its electric pickup truck because the automaker showed the autonomous car earlier this week to mixed reviews.

The Tesla CEO tweeted Saturday the firm received 146,000 orders to its wedge-shaped”Cybertruck” because it is unveiling Thursday night.

Musk said 17 percent of these orders are for its single-motor model, 42 percent are for its dual-motor model and 41 percent are for its tri-motor version.

The much-hyped unveiling went off script when its allegedly shattered window glass splintered double when struck with a huge metallic ball.

Placing an order price buyers USD 100, which Tesla states is completely refundable.

Tesla has stated the”Cybertruck,” which begins at USD 39,900, will soon maintain manufacturing in 2021.
