The migrant catastrophe on Europe’s doorstep is not any nearer to a settlement. Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has met together with the EU’s leading officials to need more aid for his nation with no additional delay’.
Also, he stated that the 3.6 million immigrant refugees residing in his country aren’t only Turkey’s duty but also Europe’s.
The EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said Monday’s meeting in Brussels between both parties were constructive, including that the migrants require support, Greece requires assistance, but also Turkey wants assistance.
Von der Leyen talked about previous discussions between the EU and Turkey in a media conference following the meeting that was attended by himself and Charles Michel, her counterpart in the European Council, but with the apparent lack of Erdogan himself.
Thousands of individuals stay at the edge and at least now not able to go any farther.
