Europe comes together to Get a Eurovision Party

In the glitz and glamour, pomp and politics into the soaring pop tunes along with viral duds, the Eurovision song competition attracts Europe and the wider world together in its distinct manner each year.

However, for the first time in over 60 decades, Eurovision’s competition, which was assumed to occur in Rotterdam, was canceled on account of this coronavirus pandemic.

Europeans were able to observe the second nonetheless: instead of this competition, Eurovision live-streamed distinctive programming including the 2020 actors.

Ultimately up to the series, Euronews spoke using a Eurovision stalwart, Johnny Logan, who won the contest twice as a performer and also a third time for a songwriter.

He even took the trophy in 1980 for What’s Another Year, followed closely by Hold Me Today in 1987.

“It is fantastic they have managed to put something in place of this competition,” he explained.

“I am honored to have been asked to sing, however, frustrated for the artists who will not get an opportunity to carry out. Eurovision is one of several middles of the street competitions the entire of Europe come together to watch. It is about the pleasure, the celebrations, the terrible tunes in addition to the decent tunes. It is a party.”
