Filmmaker Farah Khan will shortly be hosting a chat show where she’ll quiz celebrities. Called Backbenchers, the series will examine the overall understanding of celebs, that will probably be placed through oral and written evaluations, reports Mid Day. The series will look at the Flipkart program and will start on October 19.
On Saturday, the filmmaker kickstarted the shoot actor Parineeti Chopra and sports superstar Sania Mirza. Both, collectively, are extremely good friends in real life also. A source was quoted from the report as stating, “it is a fun-filled quiz series that sees Farah because the dean of a school, and the celebrities as pupils expecting to procure admission in her school. Every incident will see two celebrities vying for the place of a backbencher in Farah’s course. The contestants will need to go through a few rounds of oral and written evaluations as she assesses their knowledge about different topics.”
Sharing an image from the shoot, she wrote: “I love I began my new series #Backbenchers on #flipkartvideo with two crazy women who just have been b-girls I love really much. .
The report adds that Farah is keen about getting Hrithik Roshan and Rohit Shetty because of its inaugural guests. The report, quoting the source, included: “She’s in discussions with Hrithik Roshan and Rohit Shetty to grace the very first incident.”
Farah, who made a movie in 2014, will be directing a large Bollywood musical to be made by Rohit Shetty. Random reports imply it might be the movie of 1982 hit movie, Satte Pe Satta.
Talking to PTI concerning the said movie, Farah had stated: “Rohit and I are both extremely enthusiastic for the cooperation. We’re creating a very large, enormous Bollywood musical. It is going to be my kind of picture. Rohit and I’m most likely the previous two left to create this sort of large, entertaining cinema.”
