French Interior Minister Christophe Castaner stated there were definite”failings” tracking the guy who murdered four of his colleagues a week.
“There were failings since three guys and one girl are dead,” Castaner told a French night news bulletin on TF1 Television Sunday.
Castaner advised TF1 on Sunday the attacker’s coworkers had warned authorities on July 2015 concerning the altercation, however, they chose not to submit a report regarding the incident.
France’s anti-terror prosecutor Jean-François Ricard stated on Saturday the attacker at the Paris police officer had followed a”revolutionary vision of Islam”.
He also told the radio channel that because 2013, 59 terror attacks are thwarted–three because the start of the year.
“Now in France, the possibility of terrorism remains high, therefore we will need to provide ourselves every way to tighten the sieve into the max,” Castaner explained.
