French’spiderman’ Alain Robert Detained after Scaling Frankfurt skyscraper

Alain Robert, dubbed the French”Spiderman” for his exploits in scaling buildings across the globe, was detained Saturday at the German town of Frankfurt after climbing the”Skyper” tower, an AFP journalist reported.

Robert, 57, reached the very top of 154-meter (500 ft ), 42-floor construction in only half an hour without consent nor security gear — causing passersby to stop, stare and shoot photographs.

Back on the floor, authorities proceeded to arrest Robert that has chalked up a collection of similar stunts throughout the globe since 1994, one of the world’s tallest buildings, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, along with the Eiffel Tower at Paris.

Back in August, he increased a Hong Kong skyscraper and pinpointed a”serenity” banner massive and at times violent pro-democracy protests rocked town.
