A plethora of celebrities welcomed Lord Ganesha for their houses this past year. Ahead of this Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations on Monday, Many such as Suniel Shetty and Sonu Sood were spotted prepping for its festivities at Mumbai. Founded in a t-shirt and shorts, the 8-year-old appeared excited because he held the idol that was unveiled on Monday. But, his twin sister, Iqra was seen with him. Sanjay lately launched the trailer of the second, Prassthanam, that was co-produced by his spouse Maanayata Dutt.
Salman Khan’s household Salma also welcomed Ganesha in their home. While his mum Salma worshipped the idol, his sister Arpita Khan was spotted carrying the following, a smaller icon to the house. While his elder son Ishaant transported the hero, the celebrity and his wife Sonali were spotted worshipping the almighty upon his birth.
Meanwhile, Suniel Shetty saw a Ganpati pandal from town and has been spotted posing for the paparazzi. Celebrities Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi also attracted the Ganpati idols dwelling throughout the afternoon.
The Kapoor clan, though, won’t be welcoming Lord Ganesha into the RK Studios anymore. The place was offered last year. Speaking about the same, Randhir Kapoor had advised Times of India in an interview, “This was the final Ganesh Chaturthi party for us. RK Studios hi Nahi Raha… into Kahan karenge? Papa (Raj Kapoor) began the convention 70 years back with a great deal of love for its Trunk God, but we do not have a location where we could hold the parties how we did in RK Studios. Most of us adore Bappa and also have enormous faith in him, but I figure we can not continue with the convention.”
