Goalkeeper Savita Considers a well-settled India can beat USA in Olympic qualifier

The women’s hockey team captain Savita feels using a well-settled unit can help them glow from the USA from the Tokyo Olympics qualifiers to be held at Bhubaneswar on November 2 and 1. “Most of those players chosen for our forthcoming tour of England have played together as a device for quite a very long time now. We’ve got a well-settled device as we know one another’s game fairly well which will help us from USA in the Olympic qualifiers,” Savita explained.

“It’s been our goal to meet the requirements for Tokyo after getting qualified for Rio following a gap of 36 decades. We’re all extremely determined about achievement in the qualifiers and the forthcoming games against Great Britain is going to be great preparation for this,” she added.

Included in preparation for the Qualifiers, the staff will perform with a five-match series against England from September 27 to October 4 and also India’s genius goalkeeper considers that in the USA they will be able to confront similar sides. “Great Britain and the USA have very similar playing styles, and all of us are very happy that we’ll be playing against Great Britain ahead of both enormous games in November,” she explained.

“The girls have been sweating it out in coaching for the last two weeks, and I am quite confident that we’ll have the ability to implement our plans nicely,” Savita added.
