House Judiciary Committee announces initial impeachment trial, invites Trump to visit

The House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday announced that it will hold its initial public impeachment hearing next week, also encouraged President Donald Trump and his attorneys” to engage.”

“I’m optimistic that you and your counselor will choose to take part in the Committee’s hearing, in agreement with the principles of decorum and together with the solemn character,” Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler stated in a letter declaring the hearing.

Nadler said that the hearing comes because the question enters”a new stage.”

“Our first job is to learn more about the framework set up to react to serious allegations of impeachable misconduct such as those against President Trump,” Nadler said, including that Trump, who’s complained that the home is not giving him due process,” includes a decision to make: he could take this chance to be represented at the impeachment hearings or she can quit whining about the procedure. I hope he chooses to take part in the question, directly or through counsel, as other people have done .”
