An Indian national is one of 15 new cases of this deadly coronavirus from the UAE, requiring the entire number of diseases in the nation to 45, health officials have said.
They have been diagnosed via ancient observation and reporting systems employed in the nation and are just three Emiratis, two people in Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia, and Iran in addition to an individual each from Thailand, Morocco, China and India, the announcement said.
“The UAE maintains recovery of 2 instances of COVID-19 and also reported that 15 instances of different nationalities have tested positive for the virus, carrying to 45 the total diseases in the nation,” that the MoHAP tweeted Friday.
Five people in close contact COVID-19 patients also have been screened, put under health quarantine and exposed to preventative steps to suppress the spread of this virus from the nation, the announcement added.
These are being tracked round-the-clock, are in a stable state and are getting all essential healthcare needed, the announcement said.
Meanwhile, two Chinese patients, such as a 10-year-old boy, diagnosed with the mortal coronavirus from the UAE have recovered from the disease, the MoHAP stated, adding the entire amount of recovered cases in the UAE currently stands.
The virus that emerged in China’s Wuhan city at the Hubei province in December last year has spread to 97 states and contains infected 102,180 individuals, such as 80,651 from China, according to the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus tracker.
China has reported 28 new deaths in the lethal coronavirus epidemic, taking the death toll from the nation to 3,070, Chinese health officials said Saturday. PTI AMS
