Iran will utilize every possible approach to export its oil, Iranian Oil Ministry’s site SHANA quoted Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh as saying on Sunday, including that exporting primitive was the nation’s legitimate right.
“We can use every possible approach to export our oil, and we are not going to cling to America’s pressure because distributing oil is Iran’s legitimate right,” Zanganeh said.
Iran’s crude oil exports were cut by over 80 percent as soon as the usa re-imposed sanctions following President Donald Trump exited Iran’s 2015 atomic bargain with world powers this past year.
In response, Iran has scaled back its responsibilities to the 2015 atomic bargain, under which Tehran admitted to curtail its nuclear activities in return for lifting many global sanctions.
Iran’s Atomic Energy Organisation (AEOI) reiterated on Sunday the nation would reduce its obligations under the agreement farther in the event the European parties to the pact failed to meet claims to protect Iran’s market from U.S. sanctions.
“We will proceed with our plans to reduce our obligations to the nuclear bargain if other parties don’t keep their promises,” the Students News Agency ISNA quoted AEOI’s spokesman Behrouz Kamalvandi as stating.
