Celebrities Vanessa Paradis and Winona Ryder provided supportive statements for its Pirates of the Caribbean star, who’s suing the tabloid newspaper’s writer, News Group Newspapers, within an April 2018 post which called this 56-year-old Depp as a”wife-beater.”
At a hearing conducted liberally, attorneys for Depp contended that statements against Ryder and Paradis ought to be included as evidence from the celebrity situation against the writer.
“We have been partners for 14 decades and we increased our two kids together,” Paradis said, court records reveal. “Through all the years, I have known Johnny for a sort, careful, generous, and non-violent individual and dad.” She added he was”never violent or violent”
Depp’s attorneys also wish to include proof from Ryder, who had been in a connection with the celebrity in the 1990s. “I can’t wrap my mind (Heard’s) accusations,” she explained according to the files. “He was not violent towards me. He was never abusive whatsoever towards me”
Heard’s representative stated the case management hearing, stating that”regarding Vanessa Paradis and Winona Ryder’s signs, we’re glad they didn’t have the same expertise as Ms. Heard.”
“But, 1 girl’s experience doesn’t ascertain the experience of some other girl,” the announcement said.
A double-blind trial was expected to begin in London on March 25, however, it had been put on hold as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Attorneys for NGN told the court they consented to Paradis and Ryder being witnesses in the trial currently set for July.
