Key Oxford Covid 19 vaccine hearing extends into Brazil

Last updated on June 4, 2020

The clinical trial for just a vaccine for coronavirus performed by specialists at the Faculty of Oxford will quickly recruit 2,000 volunteers within Brazil – among the worst affected nations – following the country’s overall health regulator approved the trial already within its Phase II.

Brazil is a high priority for the study due to the ascendant curve of this virus there.

The faculty said it’s “advancing fast” on its constant reaction to deal with the difficulties of COVID 19, and is working with AstraZeneca to explain the next steps on the source of the vaccine extensively to help make it accessible around the planet in an equitable way.

The agreement comes with a commitment to come up with the vaccine on a not-for-profit schedule during the pandemic as well as to ensure equitable and broad access around the globe.
