Man dies, Spouse Hurt in the Jungle Surfing in Australia’s Daintree rainforest

A man has died and a girl been left with severe injuries as soon as they awakened to five stories out of a jungle zipline in far northeastern Australia.

The husband and wife from South Australia were exploited together in the Jungle Surfing Canopy tours in the Daintree rainforest tourist hotspot at Queensland country on Tuesday when the episode happened.

A guy in his fifties was pronounced dead at the scene, even though attempts of employees, tourists and crisis services to rescue him.

Queensland Ambulance Service has verified that the girl had injuries to her wrists and shoulder, such as cervical injuries.

Manager of Jungle Surfing Phoebe Kitto has provided her ideas to the families and friends of those affected.

“It’ll be thoroughly researched by Workplace Health and Safety, which will get our entire cooperation,” she explained.

“We’re offering counseling to our patrons.”

Queensland authorities said a report will be ready for the coroner.
