Spanish soccer club Cadiz CF that is part of this Segunda Division, LaLiga SmartBank conducted trials for the next period in Mumbai to offer Indian pupils an opportunity to win a full scholarship to see Spain and receive soccer training around. The experiments were hosted in Cooperage Stadium on September 29 and watched over 250 pupils from Mumbai wait to acquire this once in a lifetime chance. The choice process ended with the collection of 3 players; Harshika Jain, Veer Gondor and Arnav Gorantala, that will travel to Spain in January for coaching.
Cadiz CF ran the trials for the next time in India. This past year, the experiments were a phenomenal achievement. Also, a group of pupils was chosen to get training from the most beautiful Spanish soccer coaches and get subjected to other young footballers in Spain.
Founded in 1910, it’s Segunda División, LaLiga SmartBank and retains home games in the historical, Estadio Ramon de Carranza.

We feel that initiative will inspire many Indian kids to pursue their footballing dreams and it’ll also offer exposure to the chosen pupils in the Spanish method of soccer.”
