Aiming to help clients move their present infrastructure and applications into Azure, Microsoft has obtained a Cloud migration startup named Movere for an undisclosed sum.
“We are dedicated to supplying our clients with extensive expertise for migrating existing infrastructure and applications to Azure, including the ideal tools, procedures, and programs.
“As a part of the continuing investment, we are eager to welcome the leadership, talent, technologies, and profound experience Movere has assembled in allowing customers’ travel to the Cloud throughout the previous 11 decades,” Jeremy Winter, Partner Director, Azure Management, wrote in a blog article on Wednesday.
More initially started as a consulting firm but pivoted about 2014 following the founders experienced their particular problem with Cloud migration. The startup was a Microsoft partner for more than a decade today.
“The purchase by Microsoft isn’t simply a union of a best-in-class and reliable Cloud platform using a strong data and insights stage; it’s likewise the merger of fires of 2 businesses seeking to move mountains for clients via a profound partner ecosystem, together with the ultimate aim of enabling your small business transformation delivered at the speed of light,” Kristin Ireland, Co-founder and CEO, Movere, wrote in a blog article.
