The area of harm to Nantes’ famed Gothic cathedral after a blaze broke there last Saturday has been proven in drone footage in the region’s fire department.
The blaze destroyed the building’s manhood, shattered stained glass windows, and sent plumes of smoke billowing out involving the cathedral’s towers.
French officers started an inquiry into the way the fire had been started following”three different fire factors” were identified within the palace.
A volunteer, accountable for shutting the doors of the palace on Friday nights, has been put in custody but released on Sunday evening.
The Nantes fire brought back memories for a number of the devastating ordeal at Notre Dame Cathedral in April 2019, which destroyed all the building’s roof and induced its spire to fall until it had been extinguished.
