The planet’s renowned Paris Christmas lights returned to grace the French capital on Sunday evening.
Colored bulbs, luminous arches, and dazzling projections adorned the roads of this Ville Lumière across the Champs-Elysées, Avenue Montaigne, Place Vendôme, Montmartre district, and Bercy Village.
The lights, which were switched by singer Louane, will remain on till January 6, from 5 pm to 2 am, and all night from December 24 to December 31.
The service took place however at a smaller scale since the town remains under strict lockdown limitations because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Moving around is permitted just for essential trips and food purchasing, and individuals are invited to work at home.
