Vice President Mike Pence went on Rush Limbaugh’s radio show on Friday to ensure Americans who threat posed from the coronavirus in the USA are “no” but”we are prepared for whatever might come.”
Limbaugh, who has aggressively defended the government’s handling of this crisis, has compared the coronavirus to”the frequent cold” and whined worries about an outbreak in the U.S. were “weaponized” by Democrats and the press.
Pence, that has been put in control of the government’s answer by President Donald Trump, preached openness and warning in his opinions on the right-wing talk show host schedule.
“We are all in this together,” he informed Limbaugh, imagining that he had already talked to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., along with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., along with the Democratic governors of these countries.
“I mean, we are likely to come together as Americans and cope with this matter and set the wellbeing and safety of the American individuals first,” said Pence, who repeatedly praised Trump’s direction of this response effort.
“We are going to adhere to the truth, follow the science and tune the politics out.”
Limbaugh said on his show earlier this week that the coverage on the coronavirus has been overhyped by both Democrats and the press in an attempt to harm the president.
“I wish to tell you the facts about the coronavirus. The coronavirus is the frequent cold.”
The press, Limbaugh stated, “would love for the coronavirus to be this mortal breed that disturbs out everybody, so they can blame Trump for this “
The epidemic has spread from China to 40 nations around the world, such as the U.S.
