Defense Secretary Mark Esper has approved using $3.6 billion in financing from military construction jobs to construct 175 kilometers of President Donald Trump’s wall across the Mexican border.
Pentagon officials wouldn’t say which 127 jobs will be impacted, but state details will be available tomorrow after members of Congress are advised. They say half of the cash will come in military employment from the U.S., and the remainder will come from jobs in different nations.
Elaine McCusker, the Pentagon comptroller, claims that the money will be utilized to construct 11 boundary jobs.
Trump announced a federal emergency to utilize the military building, and other federal funding to create the wall following Congress provided just a part of the $5.7 billion the president needed for its barrier.
