Marvel films have a history of turning their prospects into celebrities, and the investment is not affordable. Through time, many actors have gone from modest salaries in their initial movies for Marvel, to creating record-breaking millions.
The Majority of the earning most MCU celebrities, for example, Robert Downey Jr and Chris Evans, comes out of a cut of their proceeds. For example, Downey, based on Business Insider, had an 8 percent back-end bargain on Avengers: Endgame, which interpreted to approximately $75 million.
However, Downey was paid only $500000 for his starring role from the very first Iron Man movie in 2008. He made around $2.5 million, for example, his cut of their profits.
In contrast, Chris Evans has been paid $1 million to its first Captain America movie, but because Captain America: Civil War, was making $15 million per movie. Chris Hemsworth has been paid less for its very first Thor movie — $150000 — but produced $15 million for Thor: Ragnarok.
“We started stating that the personality would be the name, and I feel that is still accurate, but I believe we have been blessed and grateful that the celebrities that imbibe these personalities have become them,” Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige told Forbes at 2017. “It is pricey but well worth it”
