Saudi dubs Record of Kingdom hacking Jeff Bezos’ Telephone’absurd’, calls for probe

Saudi Arabia said on Wednesday a press report which the Kingdom is supporting the hacking of Amazon. Com Inc founder Jeff Bezos’ telephone was”absurd.”

The billionaire’s phone was murdered in 2018 following getting a WhatsApp message which was shipped from the private account of Saudi’s crown prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Guardian reported on Tuesday, citing resources.

The encoded message in the amount employed by the crown prince is thought to have comprised a malicious file that infiltrated the telephone Bezos had utilized and pulled considerable quantities of information in hours, ” the report stated.

“Recent press reports that indicate the Kingdom is supporting a hacking of Mr. Jeff Bezos’ telephone are absurd. We call for an investigation on those claims so we could have all the details out,” Saudi’s US embassy said in a message posted on Twitter.

The association between the Amazon chief executive and the Saudi authorities had soured since early last year following he alluded to Saudi Arabia’s displeasure in the Bezos’ possessed Washington Post’s coverage of the murder of its columnist and Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
