Scarlett Johansson says she Thinks Woody Allen is innocent:’I’d Use him anytime’

Scarlett Johansson says she is standing by Woody Allen because “I think him.”

Michael Caine, Timothee Chalamet and Greta Gerwig are one of the celebrities that have publicly expressed sorrow over working together with him.

“I adore Woody,” Johansson told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview published on Wednesday. “I think him, and I’d work with him.”

Allen helped boost Johansson into the A-list. He led her in Match Point, Scoop and Vicky Cristina Barcelona. She stated she’s talked to Allen concerning the accusations and that he asserts his innocence. He’s never been charged.

Johansson is active in women’s issues and has been one of early fans of Time’s Up.

“It is hard because it is a period where people are extremely fired up, and ,” she explained. “Things needed to be awakened, and so individuals have a great deal of fire and a great deal of strong feelings and are mad, and rightfully so. It is an intense moment.”

Johansson said she’s had numerous discussions with Allen about his past. “I have been very direct with himand he is very straight ,” she explained.

Allen has yet to come across a U.S. supplier for his movies since Amazon pulled his bargain this past year. Allen has registered a $68 million suit against Amazon.

In the Women’s March in Washington This past Year, Johansson talked about the significance of Planned Parenthood and women’s health. She chased James Franco for sporting a Time’s Up pin into the Golden Globes before the Los Angeles Times reported that the five girls accused him of sexual misconduct.
