The celebrity discussed the enduring doubt of this auditioning until he was given to play with Loki, Thor’s enemy at the film during his trip to The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday.
“Fundamentally, at the moment they were searching for less well-established celebrities, so the audience did not have an institution,” Hiddleston informed the TV host.
“They only wanted people to find these new personalities, these new celebrities along with also the remit was, in case you are over 6 ft and you have blonde hair, it is possible to have a pop at it,” he explained. “So… I auditioned for Loki, I just auditioned for Thor, that will be nuts.”
Throughout his conversation, Fallon informed Hiddleston the Marvel Studios had sent the series that a duplicate of his audition tape. From the clip, Hiddleston could be seen wearing a blond wig and wielding a variant of Thor’s hammer.
“I believe we could all agree they throw the ideal celebrity,” Hiddleston said after the movie was played, speaking to Chris Hemsworth, that eventually played the function. I never anticipated it.”
“You understand, I auditioned for the initial Thor movie ten decades before, in 2009, and I just thought I had been auditioning or a film, you understand? An intriguing part. An intriguing movie.”
