U.S. still Undergoing Almost record-high-number of anti-Semitic incidents

America is on course to record a second year using a”historically high” variety of patriotic events, the Anti-Defamation League said Sunday.

From the first six months of 2019, the Jewish civil rights team counted 780 instances which have vandalism, arson and also the supply of white supremacist propaganda in synagogues and other Jewish institutions, according to a news release.

The team said that year’s figures almost matched the initial six months of 2018, with 785 events.

The worst season for anti-Semitic acts in the USA because the ADL started counting three years back was 2017.

That amount represented a nearly 60 percent growth within 2016, the company has stated.

The team’s CEO, Jonathan Greenblatt, blamed the spike to”an increasing climate of incivility, the emboldening of hate groups and expanding divisions in society”

States with large Jewish inhabitants such as California, New York, and New Jersey watched the best variety of anti-Semitic acts.

The launch Sunday came nearly six months following a fatal attack in a Chabad synagogue at Poway, California, and almost a year after the massacre in the Tree of Life synagogue at Pittsburgh, the deadliest assault on Jews in the USA.

The Tree of Life shooting, which left 11 people dead and seven injured, was carried out by a guy who threatened Jews online and published regularly about conspiracy theories regarding the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society.

On Sunday, the ADL stated that 12 white supremacists have been detained since the synagogue assault due to their alleged functions in Spartan terrorist plots, threats, and attacks.
