The UK may be bracing for one of the coldest winters in 30 decades, scientists have warned.
The scientists created this forecast after assessing present sea temperatures and weather systems across the North Atlantic, The Daily Mail stated from the reported.
The group, headed by Professor Mark Saunders, told The Sunday Times: “This could rate the 2020 January-February central England temperature since the coldest winter as 2013 and January-February 2020 since the coldest winter in the previous 30 decades.”
Freezing Arctic atmosphere is set to descend to the united kingdom from the very first weeks of next year since the Gulf flow will overtake Britain, leaving the nation without the increase in temperatures it generally brings into the British Islands in the Atlantic and Caribbean sea.
According to climate forecast specialists at University College London, prior to the chilly burst, warmer weather was about the road, using some forecasters indicating it might prove to be the hottest September on record, with highs of 26 degrees Celsius.
