Ukrainian Authorities detain hostage-taker threatening to Dismiss bank

A young guy who held that a bank worker hostage and threatened to detonate a bomb at the Ukrainian capital Kyiv on Monday was detained, the nation’s Security Services (SBU) have declared.

The assumptions of the Universal Bank from the Kyiv’s Leonardo complicated”are now being scrutinized for explosives”, the SBU stated on Twitter.

Deputy Interior Minister Anton Guerachtchenko had previously named the attacker since 32-year-old Uzbek nationwide Karrimov Sukhrob.

He added that Sukhrob promised to take a bomb in a backpack which was tied into his leg and could consequently detonate if he had been murdered.

It’s the third hostage-taking episode in Ukraine in just a fortnight.
