US looking for COVID-19 vaccine’by year end’, says Trump

President Donald Trump stated on Friday that he is hopeful to have a coronavirus vaccine in the marketplace by the end of the year or soon afterward.

“We are seeking to get it [a vaccine] at the end of the year when we could,” Trump said, “or soon afterward.”

Historical trial data indicates that”a couple hundred thousand doses of vaccine” will be sent by late 2020, senior executive Moncep Slaoui, who’s serving as the Trump government’s virus jurisdiction, stated throughout the daily coronavirus briefing in the White House.

Speaking from the Rose Garden,” Trump added that the US is”becoming prepared so that if we receive the fantastic word that we’ve got the vaccine (…) we are prepared to proceed.”
